Context

The Center for Green Market Activation™ (GMA) is a U.S.-based, globally focused nonprofit launched in June 2024. Through innovative book-and-claim systems, creative procurement approaches, and aggregated buyers’ alliances, GMA accelerates the uptake of low- and zero-carbon goods and services across hard-to-abate sectors. Our organizational model blends cross-cutting technical expertise with sector-specific programs, allowing companies to rapidly scale Scope 3 mitigation efforts across aviation, maritime, trucking, concrete, chemicals, and more. In 2023, GMA launched GMA Trucking, a buyers’ alliance designed to accelerate decarbonization of the heavy-duty trucking sector by driving investment in and adoption of zero-emission (ZE) vehicles. GMA Trucking pools demand from climate-leading companies and partners with carriers, OEMs, and charging and fueling providers to develop real-world projects that deploy battery-electric (BEV) and fuel-cell electric (FCEV) trucks. The Analyst/Associate will play a central role in enabling the next phase of growth for this initiative and will work directly with key stakeholders across the trucking decarbonization ecosystem. GMA seeks employees who are mission-driven, highly entrepreneurial, excited to learn technical subject matter, and able to communicate with clarity and confidence. Our motto, “Getting more done, together,” is core to our culture. Ideal candidates thrive in collaborative environments and prioritize implementation over perfection.
