Ethan Coyle is an Executive Assistant and Program Analyst at GMA, providing leadership support while contributing to GMA’s sector expansion through the Emerging Initiatives program. Ethan brings experience in corporate sustainability and climate policy from Deloitte’s Sustainability Services team, where he advised companies on climate strategy and reporting compliance. His work drew on frameworks including the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the GHG Protocol, and reporting regulations in Europe and California. He also developed pre-read briefings for the Actions & Market Instruments technical working group at the GHG Protocol, gaining expertise in climate markets that now informs his work at GMA. Ethan holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Michigan. He completed a fellowship in sustainable business with the Erb Institute at U-M, and published a case study in 2023 about climate-resilient housing in Florida. He is based in Washington, DC.
