This RFI is designed to help GMA Trucking refine the structure of our next procurement, which aims to combine the sale of book and claim attributes with physically connected trucking services. In addition, we hope to gather useful insights to better understand carrier readiness, forthcoming deployment opportunities, charging needs, and preferred commercial arrangements. Carrier feedback will play a critical role in shaping the next procurement cycle.

Carriers or aggregators and their partners (such as OEMs and charging providers) should be the primary respondent to this scoping document and should review all context materials. Responses should be submitted through our RFI Submission Portal after downloading and completing the RFI document.

The deadline for responses is December 4th, 2026.

As of December 17, 2024, GMA Trucking has launched a request for proposal targeted at trucking carriers interested in deploying zero-emission heavy duty trucks. Those interested in responding are encouraged to download the RFP and its supporting documentation by clicking below.

As a first step, GMA Trucking has launched a request for information (RFI) directed at trucking carriers interested in deploying zero-emission heavy duty trucks. The feedback received from carriers will feed into the development and requirements of the forthcoming RFP, which will be released later in 2024. The RFI contains questions regarding experiences with heavy-duty ZEVs, deployment opportunities within respondent operations, commercial and purchasing perspectives, among other topics.
