Laura is Senior Manager, System Design at GMA. Prior to joining GMA, Laura was a manager at RMI leading work on book and claim applications in heavy industry and transport. She led RMI’s technical contributions to the Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance (SABA), specifically including the design and implementation of the SAFc Registry and the SAFc Emissions Accounting and Reporting Guidelines. She also co-led the Book and Claim Community secretariat alongside Smart Freight Centre, and served as an advisor for earlier-stage efforts to replicate the book and claim model in maritime shipping, steel, cement and concrete, and chemicals. Prior to her focus on book and claim, Laura supported early efforts within the Mission Possible Partnership and helped develop MiQ - a methane emissions performance standard for natural gas supply chains. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Earth Sciences and a minor in Engineering from Dartmouth College.
